WET – Water & Envi Tech

Students are an integral part of the water and environmental protection research group. WET – Water & Envi Tech is a learning environment where students work on various projects, most often in collaboration with other experts in the field. Practical work, networking, learning by doing and diverse projects offer opportunities to develop their expertise in the water and environmental field already during their studies!

Practice

The application for internships in the research group is usually open at the beginning of the year, but internships are often also possible during the semester. During the internship, you will work on various projects, including fieldwork, surveys and reports, and company assignments.

The content and scope of the internship can be tailored to your own needs, and the internship can also be done part-time alongside your studies!

The internship is unpaid, but at a later stage you can be employed as a student assistant on projects.

Project studies

In addition to internships, the WET learning environment allows you to gain credits and experience through various project work and smaller assignments. The content and scope of the assignments can vary from short reports to comprehensive design tasks and are often customized according to the student's interests!

Theses

The research group offers students opportunities for theses. Theses can be independent assignments for companies or public actors or part of broader services implemented by the research group. The research group's several RDI projects also offer diverse thesis opportunities.
